Note: This article applies to changing passwords for our white label partners looking to use their Console access. Not to be confused with resetting passwords on dashboard user accounts.

As a white label partner, when we create your console login you will also get an IoT in a Box account in our system (even if it’s completely unused). This creates a little confusion in resetting your password, but here is how you can reset your Console login password:

Reset your Console account password

  1. Go to https://iotinabox.mydevices.com/home/forgot-password
💡  Please Note!: Even though you are a white label customer you DO want to use the IoT in a Box white label link for this part.

  2. Submit the forgot password form to have a password reset link sent to your email inbox.
Click here to see more information on how this looks

Note: If you no longer have access to the email inbox for your console login account you will need to have the Support team update the password for you.

  3. Check your email inbox for the link that gets sent to you. That link will let you reset your password.

  4. After updating your password on IoT in a Box, you should be able to now login your Console and using the updated password.

  5. (Optional) If you also need to update the password for your white label dashboard account, please see the instructions below on doing this.

Reset your white label dashboard login

Your Console login and white label dashboard logins are separate. To update the password associated with your white label dashboard login, simply follow the same process as any of your users would to reset your password, simply be sure to use the Forgot Password link from your white label dashboard.

In short:

  1. Go to your white label dashboard. E.g. https://app.mywhitelabel.com/. Click on Sign In.

  2. Click on the Forgot Password link.

  3. Fill out the form and click Submit. You will then receive a reset link in your email inbox.

  4. Use the password reset link you find in the email received to change your password.

  5. After changing your password, you can sign into your white label dashboard account using the new password.
