How to get Hardware added so that it is supported in the App. |
Our platform offers the flexibility to supports any Hardware Manufacturer and Device type. If a new piece of hardware is not currently supported, there is a process that must be followed in order for it to be added.
To integrate a sensor device into the myDevices platform, you need to submit the device into the IoT Ready Program.
Step 1:- Open Iot-ready-program website.
Step 2:- Scroll down and click on the Submit Your Device button.
Step 3:- Register if you are a new user or sign in to your account.
Step 4:- Fill in your account and company information.
Step 5:- Click on Submit New Hardware button.
Step 6:- Follow the instructions and fill the device submission form and submit it.

To track the devices submission status, login into Iot-ready-program and click on View Submission.

Device datasheet, user guides, and documentation.
The device documentation should have the following key points:
A brief introduction of the device.
Device hardware description.
Proper uplink/downlink payload description explaining each field.
Bytes description.
Signed or Unsigned integer.
State 8/16/32/64 bit value
Unit of measurement.
Scaling factor of each data.
Examples of uplink/downlink payload.
