The Product Info tab contains the settings that control how your product is setup. 

Product Configuration

  • Application Name: The name of your product.

  • myDevices URL: If you do not use a Custom Domain, this is the URL you will hand out to customers so that they can access your App.

myDevices will configure this field during your App creation - this is not something you need to alter. If you want a customized URL please see Custom Domain.

  • Custom Domain: If you want your customers to access your App using a domain under your control, this is where you would specify that URL.

Support for Custom Domains requires special configuration in order to work successfully. Please follow our Guide on setting up Custom Domains.

  • Default Language: Allows you to set the default language shown to users when they visit your domain.

After creating an account in your App, users can always select a different language from their Account settings page within the dashboard.

Help, Links, Copyright

  • FAQs/Help: If you are hosting your own FAQ/Help database, this allows you to change the Help link found in your product so that it points to your knowledge-base.

If you customize this value the in-app help links will no longer open the myDevices knowledge base and will instead open your help link instead.

  • SLA: Allows you to change the SLA link displayed for your product.

  • Terms of Service: Allows you to change the Terms of Service link displayed for your product.

  • Copyright Info: Allows you to change the Copyright link displayed for your product.
