How to Customize your App’s dashboard features and behavior by toggling certain UI features off. Some of our partners business use cases requires that certain features not be displayed in the app. These toggles, located on the White Label Settings > Show / Hide UI screen, have been provided to allow for customization of the app where display of these UI features needs to be hidden from within the app.

Note that after making a change it may take several minutes before the app is updated.

Create Account / Sign In

  • Home: If you turn off Home, then you are redirected to Sign-in page when accessing your app’s top-level landing page.

  • Create Account: If you turn off Create Account. then the “Create Account” Button becomes Sign in button and the Sign in text link is removed from your app.

  • Send Welcome Email: Whether or not the welcome email gets sent to the user upon successful account creation.

Add Gateway / Add Device

  • Add Gateway: Turns off the ability to Add Gateways from within your app.

  • Add Device: Turns off the ability to Add Devices from within your app.

  • Add Gateway during 1st experience: Turns off the default behavior where after creating a new Company and Location the user is asked to add their first gateway to that location.

  • Add Device during 1st Experience: Turns off the default behavior where after adding a Gateway during the account creation process the user is then directed automatically to add their first sensor to that location.

  • Add Report When Adding Device: Turns off the default behavior where a new default Report is automatically created when a device gets added.

  • Add Alert When Adding Device: Turns off the default behavior where a new default Alert is automatically created when a device gets added.

  • Device Simulator: Hides the Add Simulated Device option that allows users to add simulated devices to accounts.

Integrations

  • Integrations List: Turns off the display of Integrations which appears in the top-nav menu bar within the dashboard.

Contacts

  • Contacts List: Turns off the Contacts screen where users are able to view a list of contacts and permissions.

  • Add Contacts: Turns off the ability for users to create new contacts. Existing contacts can still be selected by users for Alerts or Reports recipients.

  • Contacts Invite Email: Turns off the Invite email that gets sent to contacts when they are invited with permission to view a shared account.

Device Details

  • Resources tab: Turns off the Resources sub-tab which shows Device information, datasheets and videos for a piece of hardware added to the account.

  • Device Template: Turns off display to the user of the device template being used for this device. E.g. “GlobalSat Panic Button (Multi-Press)”.

  • Device Image: Turns off display of the Device Image seen from within Settings for the device.

  • Type: Turns off display of the device type (e.g. “Panic Button Tracking”) throughout the dashboard UI.

Account

  • Account Settings: Turns off the Account Settings sub-tub found under the Account nav option.

  • My Data: Turns off the My Data sub-tab found under Account.

  • Password: Turns off the control that allows customer to access/change Password from the Account tab. Usually used in combination with Single Sign On or equivalent customization.

  • Language: Turns off the ability for the user to modify which language their dashboard is displayed in.

  • Copyright Link: Turns off display of the Copyright info displayed to the user in the app.

  • Service Level Agreement (SLA): Turns off display of the SLA.

  • Term of Service (TOS): Turns off display of the TOS.

Corrective Actions

  • Select All: Turns off display of the Select All / Deselect All buttons shown to the user when they open the Corrective Action dropdown options. Usually used in combination with Multiple selection.

  • Select Multiple Correction Actions: Turns off the ability for users to select more than one Corrective Action from the dropdown of options.
