High level how-to

1. Create a Story with all the details (see below)

2. Add a line item in the Realms Google Sheet (for our tracking)

3. Assign the card to Tobias

4. When it’s delivered, if you can access the Domain URL of the app and see the expected branding, mark the Story & Realm list as Resolved/Live.

5. Deliver to client.

Create request for new White Label

1. Create a Jira Story in the Software board

   1. Type: Story

   2. Title should be (White-Label New) XXXX replacing XX with name of Company/Label being created

   3. Body must include the following bits of information (see existing cards linked from Realms list which you can copy/paste + change)

      1. Company: company name (e.g. Acme LLC)

      2. Product: product name (as shown in Title of their app, e.g. “IoT Acme”)

      3. App: The XXX part of the *.mydevices.com domain (see below).
         This must match exactly the beginning domain part from below.

      4. Domain: The XXX.mydevices.com that the client wants to access their app from.
         Just run a quick check in your browser to make sure this url isn’t already taken by a partner.

      5. Email: The initial Admin email for contact who gets added in Console.

Add to our Google Sheet tracker

1. Open Realms Google sheet and scroll down to bottom

2. Add an entry, linking up the information from the request and your Jira Story

QA when ready

Tobias will mark the card Ready for QA when he’s done and it’s ready to be checked.

The only thing you need to do is:

1. Verify the Domain you requests is actually live. As long as it pulls up with expected branding, it’s good - we have this automated to where nothing else is needed to be checked.

2. Mark the Jira Story and the Realms list as Resolved/Live so that we know it’s good to go.

3. Notify your client it’s ready.
