Whitelisting Custom Domains in Google Maps API

This requires access to the mydevicesgps@gmail.com account. Contact Ryan Smith if you need the current password/access to this account.

  1. While logged in as mydevicesgps@gmail.com – go to this URL: https://console.cloud.google.com/welcome?project=maps-oem-39484272&authuser=2

  2. Click on APIs & Services in the Quick Links area at the bottom-center of the page

  3. Click on Credentials in the left sidebar

  4. On the API Keys list that appears, click on item Web - IoT in a Box - White Labels - Production

  5. Click +Add to open the Add Website dialog

  6. Enter the customer’s Custom Domain here with /* at the end, to ensure all pages are whitelisted. Here are some examples of domains which are entered properly:


     

  7. Click Done, then the blue SAVE button at the bottom of the page. Allow 5 minutes for the change to propagate.

Verify the whitelisting worked

 

To verify that the whitelisting worked, go to the Custom Domain you just whitelisted and create an account there. Try to use the Address autocomplete when creating a company there. If this works, then you whitelisted the domain OK. If instead it doesn’t work and you see an error like this in your browser console, then the whitelisting didn’t work and should be double-checked:
