New Partner workflow

As you engage with us we will walk you through each step in the process and provide you with the information and answer any questions that you have. This information is here to give you an overview of what we will cover while working with you.

1. Onboarding

App & Console overview

You will get an overview of App and Console. This will get you up to speed on the capabilities and usage of both our end-user Progressive Web App as well as the partner Back Office Console which our partners can use to manage their app, hardware and customers for day to day tasks.

Ordering equipment

You will be guided through ordering equipment based on your needs. Depending upon your needs we can work with you and provide varying levels of assistance as you need - from helping to estimate how much hardware is needed up to and including helping to physically install the hardware.

  1. You can order the solution from us and we’ll deploy it.
In this case we’re helping you through the entire process, from estimation and including working with our professional installation services to deploy solutions.

  2. You can order the solution and deploy it yourself with out assistance.
We can help you estimate equipment needed and provide training & installation material along with remote assistance that will help you to deploy hardware.

  3. You can order just the hardware.
You can always pick & choose just the hardware. We will send you hardware preconfigured to work with our network and you can roll and manage your own solution as you see fit.

  4. You can bring your own devices.
If you have existing gateways and sensors, we can help work with you to onboard these devices. Note that this kind of setup requires additional work on your side to configure your devices so that they will communicate with our services.

A note on hardware and networks - Our devices are preconfigured to work with our Azure chirpstack instance. If you are running on a different network or if you are bringing your own devices, you must be aware that you will need to have all sensors and gateways connecting on the same LoRa network before things will work. We do not support a mixture of networks and sensors will not communicate automatically between networks. Related: Best practices for deploying hardware.

2. Work on the deliverables

When you engage with us to set up your solution, we will then begin working on deliverables for you. During this process we are helping to collect and deliver what you will need for your solution. This would include things such as:

  • Collecting Branding and information needed to set up and deliver a branded white label app for you to use.

  • Set up and creation of your Console access.

  • Estimation and ordering of Gateways and Sensors.

3. Knowledge transfer

As a partner you will gain access to our Knowledge Base and Documentation sources which will help answer your questions as well as guides that walk you through common tasks. You will also have access to our Training & Installation materials which are tailored to the solution type that you chose. Our goal is to get you the information you need to be successful in deploying, using and selling your solution.

4. Ongoing support

We will support you directly during each step of the process. After successfully deploying your solution we will continue to work with you providing relevant knowledge sources to answer App & Console usage questions and being available and responsive to questions you have through our Support channels.
