Stopping a Panic Button Alert

After a panic button has been triggered, you will continue to receive alert until someone ends the alert from within the application.

To end the alert, pull up the location where the alert is occurring and use the Stop Alert button shown next to the device information. This will end the ongoing distress call event, prompting the device to stop sending alerts.

The alert will stop promptly, after the device receives notification that it should stop sending alerts. You may receive a few more notifications because of the frequency alerts are sent out when in the emergency state.

You will also receive notification that the emergency has been ended.
