IM Building People Counter

Activation

1. Remove the covers from both pieces of the people counter

2. Insert AA batteries in both pieces. You’ll see blinking lights on both halves after the batteries are inserted.

3. Press the button labeled ACTIVATE once (located inside the transmitter half)

4. Place the plastic cover back on both pieces

Installation

There are two pieces to the IM Building People Counter sensor, a receiver and a transmitter. You can identify the receiver by looking for the Counter A and B arrrows.

Face the doorway looking into the room you want to count people entering. The receiver should always be installed on the left side of the doorway while looking into the room, and the transmitter on the right.

For best results, mount both pieces of the sensor around 4.5 feet off of the floor.

1. Remove the cover of the transmitter half of the sensor

2. Remove the AA batteries. Wait 10 seconds, then re-insert the AA batteries

3. Press the button labeled ACTIVATE once (located inside the transmitter piece)

4. Press the button labeled ACTIVATE once (located inside the transmitter half)

5. Place the plastic cover back on the transmitter
