Press and hold the gray circle until after the status indicator blinks green. The sensor device will then attempt to connect with your gateway.
(External Probe – OPTIONAL) Connect the external probe to the sensor by removing the plastic plug and inserting the probe.

Note: If you are not using the probe, be sure to leave the plastic plug in place. Failing to do so may cause the sensor hardware to fail.
After a few moments the status indicator should change to green indicating that the device is connected and ready for use.

In the event your device is offline or you need to reset it, please follow these steps.

Press the gray circle 5 times. The status indicator will change to solid green and then turn off. The device is now reset and ready to be activated again.
Note: Pressing too quickly or too slowly won’t trigger the reset function.
Press and hold the gray circle until the status indicator blinks green. The sensor device will then attempt to connect with your gateway.
After a few moments the status indicator should change to green indicating that the device is connected and ready for use.
